Plitvice is a long day from Split — which is exactly why you want someone else handling the driving. Air-conditioned transfer, a guide who knows the quieter trails, the panoramic boat and the little train both included. One thing to know: the €40 park entry isn’t in the price. Go on a weekday if you can — weekends the boardwalks get busy.
