Stay for the optional three-course truffle brunch cooked by the family: truffle spreads, cheeses, scrambled eggs with truffles, and a chocolate dessert with truffle oil that sounds wrong and tastes right. It’s kid-friendly, there’s a truffle product shop on site, and the seasons matter — white truffles run from September to December, which is when the forest is at its most generous.
